Many people wonder just who is BKThemes.  I am Brian Keary.  Let me tell you a bit about myself.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in Dec of 1992.  I worked as a freelancer for a number of years programming in many languages like COBOL, FORTRAN, etc.  None of these are really used today.  I taught myself search engine optimization and have been certified every year since 2002.

In 2005 I started working on building WordPress themes and plugins.  I did this for a number of years all the while continuing my SEO practice.  In 2015 I got a request to build a Shopify theme and, while I was hesitant at first, agreed to build the theme.  I build in Shopify now as well.  Themes, Apps, modifications.

Brian Keary graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in December 1992.  He has taken his programming skills and has always been forward-thinking, always pushing the envelope.  He has never settled with just ordinary.  He goes well out of his way at times to find just the right style or functionality that makes all his projects just ‘POP’.
